What made you become a JB fan? err.. probably when he was introduced in DW series 1- then when i looked into what else he did at the time i just got interested
What do you like most about JB? He's just so bouncy, full of life, lives life to the full, multi talented, love his family and fans very much - things like that

Favorite JB interview? Not sure that there is a particlar interview that is my favourite - its just when he laughs so much and make jokes and just generally haves fun - those are the ones I love
Have you ever seen JB live, if so, where? I HAVE!! I have seen him in Plymouth Pavilions - was such an amazing night! We met him afterwards too - literally within touching distance!
What would you say to JB if you could see him tomorrow? Oh god thats a hard question! Even when i was about to meet him I had no idea what to say, got nervous and ended up saying nothing! which i was really annoyed about!! So even with time to prepare something I dont know right now..

Mini Rant

Right so im 18 years old and i have done my A Levels but am carrying on one more year to finish my Textiles A2 course and have picked up another 2 AS's - Art and iMedia.

Right now im thinking that im not really looking forward to going back because I have been 'in education' for years and frankly im getting a bit tired of it. I figured I just got to stick it out and do my best then i can get more UCAS point for uni. and then I will have a better chance of getting in.

...

Im hoping to do something related to the Theatre/TV/Film and im good at Textiles etc so I thought about doing Costume for Stage and Screen and courses like that. Specialist colleges like RWCMD and CSSD look awesome but... we'll see...

    

I heard last year that Dartmouth Regatta is the UK 2nd biggest Regatta in the UK. Now that is huge!!
Its kinda handy living about a 10 minutes drive away from Dartmouth but trying to park this year is 'a no go area' - there is absolutly no chance of parking in any way. Hurrah for park and ride!


So anyway tonight we saw the Red Arrows - as per usual they were awesome, i thought it started rather slowly etc but it soon got going and the were spliting up and going off in all directions. Was great fun. We were watching them from a large field - often used for this - that looked down onto the river where the Red Arrows were displaying. At one point one Arrow decided to come right at us - LITERALLY - the noise was deafening especially when we didnt realise it was there until it was too late, it was right in front of us following the shape of the field upwards!!! :P 

Im now looking forward to seeing the more Firework Displays. I would have liked to see the Typhoon but stupid people complained about the noise it creates last year!! How stupid, of course its going to be loud!! The Typhoon is a EURO FIGHTER!! Its meant to be loud - especially when its right down in the town by the river! Ugh! Cant believe its not here! Was looking forward to that!

Two nights ago there was Regatta Rock which I really wanted to go to but nobody i knew was going until my sister got invited to go at the last minute which i found incredibly annoying!! Will HAVE to go next year! Will be worth it I reckon! An awesome night out!! :D

Anyways, final Fireworks, craft tent, stalls and fair tomorrow!! YAY!

Ok so it was a while ago when I got these (when I say a while ago I mean like years and months). Probably during the time when DW series 2 and 3 were on along with TW series 1 - so yeah, quite a while ago.

Cheltenham Literary Festival - Oct. 12 08' - With John (+ sister) and Russell!

This day has probably got to be the best day in my life for a long time! Partly for the fact for meeting John and Carole Barrowman and seeing Russell T Davies - haha!!
 
So anyway that day we (me, my sister and mum) left early in the morning for Cheltenham (to my sisters house - she is a teacher there, near the racecourse luckily) to meet up with my sister to have lunch - then once altogether we went into the racecourse for 4pm. Waiting this long seemed such a long time - and of course my sisters didnt help either when they kept reminding me that i was gonna see John Barrowman - of which theythought was terribly funny because i was being all 'fanlike and geeky'.

So once we got into the main room (The Centaur) we realised that we actually had quite good seats - we could see quite well in relation to how big the 'theatre' was (it sat 1600 fans i think). I think we were sat in the middle of row K for both talks (JB and sis, JB and RTD). John and Carole's talk was so much fun - full of funny stories (some in and out of the book).  I think it lasted for about an hour and 15 minutes if i remember rightly - odd thing to remember i know!. 

Their talk involved stories (+ demonstrations) mainly from the book but other aswell.

One 'event' that they told us that i thought was really funny it had me giggling so much was the ...
'4am Story'..    

Now im not the best at explaining but i will try my best ...
If i remember correctly Carole was staying with John and Scott the night before they came to Cheltenham. She then told everyone that at 4 o clock in the morning she was woken by hearing John really groaning and moaning Scotts name really loudly (- at this point John was full on demonstrating what she was going on about - its a must see demonstration). At that point Carole had reached an oh so natural conclusion about what was going on between them and so got embarassed. That morning she found John in the kitchen making coffee - which he has a little 'obsession thing' over apparently - he then said to her as she entered the room ' You know i thought i was dieing of a heart attack last night!' to which her hilarious reply was ' oh thank god for that!' - John was quite 'insulted' (if thats the right word) and said 'wait a minute what!?', she said ' i thought you were having sex!!' - John got even crazier aand said 'what!! so you'd rather me dieing of a heart attack than having sex!!'. What really made me laugh at the end was when John added 'Scott has another thing coming if he thinks he's getting any at 4am!!'

This was so funny! never laughed so much i swear - i couldnt stop smiling to myself afterwards aswell. If I remember rightly aswell, Scott was actually there somewhere in the crowd or backstage I think.

Yeah so after all the talk there was a Q and A session and to be honest cant remember what was said here because it was a while ago now but hey.

And after the Q and A session John rushed upstairs with Carole to do a book signing before he went back down for another talk with RTD. Of course I went to this! I wasnt going to miss this opportunity to meet him!! :P haha!

Ok so once I calmed down that I just met John and Carole we went down stairs quickly for the other talk... John and Russell!
This was the talk that Russell was first to announce (than anywhere else) that the CoE monster was called the 456. That was all that was revealed about CoE - nothing else - maybe they didnt know, i dont know. Basically this talk was more about Russells book at the time - 'A Writers Tale'.
What is really annoying at the moment is that I cant really remember much about this talk because it was so full of random DW/TW chat in such a long conversation - There are quite a few videos on YouTube that show Russell and John's talk. 

This day was such an amzing day for me - I had a great time meeting John and Carole - even if it was for a brief moment. Also I got to see my sister which i hadnt seen for quite a while. (But I think JB topped it!! :P)

 

A Level Results!! 

Ok so .. today i got my results - had to go to 2 colleges to get them but they are ok.

I got - C for Media Applied (Communication and Production)
         - A for Textiles (AS)
         - E for Drama (and Theatre Studies)

I told my older sister this and she made me smile when she said that 'rearrange them and you get 'ACE' haha! well done you've done ACE!' 

Torchwood Magazine (Issue #16)!!

IM IN THE TW MAGAZINE - with a little letter i sent in straight after TW Day Five aired and my reaction to it. Reading it now it made me laugh - :P

Ok so I have had this video on my computer for months and i hadnt really got it finished until recently.

Now im not one for audio books and radio plays etc but i have been listening to the TW radio plays on BBC Radio4 since Wednesday just for the case that i CANNOT wait for Torchwood COE on next week!
I thought these plays were pretty good but for me the best one has to be Dead Line by Phil Ford.

When a Cardiff hospital is inundated with patients who have fallen into coma -like trances, Torchwood move in to investigate. The trances appear to have been triggered by phone calls, all received on retro phones and made from a number that hadn't been active for over 30 years. Determined to find out who has been calling the unfortunate victims, Jack rings the mysterious number, but the line is dead. But then it calls Jack back.

This was on today and im glad i didnt miss it.  
The characters were just right! By this I mean the writer got the right characteristics for them which sometimes in the other plays they didnt - i thought anyway. 
Now, I can safely say that sometimes Torchwood has made me cry watching it on TV but as for radio plays - well - this one nearly made me cry. I have to say that Gareth David-Lloyds acting in this was amazing! This is what made tears come to my eyes - obviously it did depend on what he was saying (which was so sweet and sad). Basically it was a bit where Ianto was sitting at Jacks hospital bed speaking to him (whilst Jack was in a coma like-trance) saying how he would grow old and how Jack would carry on living and he was afraid he would get forgotton. 

I think this would make much more sense if you actually here the whole play - because it makes what im writing make sense and it is just awesome.

This was a great video to make - was so much fun. Basically its all the Torchwood cast just generally having fun on set. Along with the song it turned out pretty well! Song is Just Cant Get Enough by The Saturdays
I was very pleased with the outcome of this video as I got loads of positive feedback from it - so much so i  entered it into a Contest and came first! Which i was very pleased with! Thanks guys!

This was quite a fun video to make - i think it shows what a 'rebel' Captain John Hart is. Was really fun and i think the  song suits him!

This was kindof an experimental video as it was a cross between Gwen and Capt John Hart who arent particularly a couple as such but there were certain moments in KKBB where they would flirt with eachother so i thought it would be good to make a video for them. The song is Who Knows by Natasha Bedingfield. 
I had fun making this video as the song is quite fast paced and it proved a bit of a challenge :D
